[CIVIL WAR]. A Trio of Civil War Encampment Medals. [Illinois, 1898, 1908, 1911]. Bronze medals, two with original ribbons as issued (the third was not issued with a ribbon). Sizes range from 4 ½” to 2 ½”. Generally worn, tarnished. Very good. Medals are “33d Annual Encampment G. A. R. Department of Illinois…” (1898), Illinois State Fair “Illinois State Board of Agriculture / Commander in Chief of G. A. R.” (1908), “45th Annual Encampment … Illinois G. A. R.” (1911).
