Paris: Delpech, [ca. 1823]. Well-known color lithograph with a stereotypical depiction of an African-American [?] family. And three other color lithographs depicting groups of people, all taken from “Recueil des Grimaces”. Both approximately 9 ½ x 8”. Famille Africaine is toned, soiled, trimmed, tape on verso (which has bled-through to the image), chipped. The others are generally trimmed at margins, some mild wear, soiling. Fair or better. Rare.
