[ORIGINAL ARTWORK]. Group of Two Original Gouache Drawings for Stained Glass Trade Cards. Mesnil-St. Firmin, France: Latteux-Bazin, [ca. late nineteenth century]. One gouache is of a classical design of a woman with a lyre, the other is a medieval design of a servant holding a dish. 8 ¾ x 4 ½” and 9 x 4”. Some rubbing, thumbsoiling, each with manufacturer’s inkstamp on versos. Excellent. Sold with a trade card for Latteux-Bazin. From the Mark Rucker Collection.
