Group of Nine Cabinet Cards of Assorted Subjects. [Ca. 1860s-1880s]. Cabinet photos on photographer’s mounts. Photos generally 3 ½ x 2 ¼”. Mounts generally 4 x 2 ½”. One card is large: photo 5 ½ x 4”, mount is 6 ½ x 4 ½”. Some toning, rubbing, occasional soiling, a few with short marginal tears, mount of large card chipped. An excellent group. Subjects include: a superimposed double-image (on the large card), a card of Little People, including Minnie Warren and General Nutt (?) and one other man, two men at a table with someone in a ghost costume, four women (2 cards), four hunters with rifles and two dogs, a man on a dog cart with a dog in bridle, folk artist David Merrill, with his handmade Oddfellows/Masonic large artwork shield, portrait of the Hon.
