[CUBAN REVOLUTION]. CINFUEGOS, Camilo (1932-1959). Original News Service Photograph by Raul Corrales Fornos (not credited) of Cinfuegos on Horseback Leading Cuban Revolutionaries (Campesinos) with Cuban Flags Near the End of the Revolution. [Cuba, ca. 1959]. Black and white photo (5 ½ x 9”) of Castro lieutenant Cinfuegos on a black horse with a white spot on his head, surrounded by smiling Campesinos, all with straw hats and Cuban flags in the countryside. Brown and black paint spots and some ink markings on verso, photo a bit toned. Excellent. Cinfuegos was one of Castro’s main lieutenants and top guerilla commanders. Cienfuegos is honored with various holidays and monuments in Cuba, and a huge steel-outline portrait of Cinfuegos weighing 100 tons was added to the Ministry of Informatics and Communications building in Havana. Original photos of Cinfuegos are rare. Encapsulated Type I Authentic by PSA. From the Mark Rucker Collection.
