Portrait of a man in a baseball uniform with “Oklahoma'' on the jersey (some of the letters on the jersey are obscure) holding a ball (or another black object) aloft. Margins with partially scalloped edges. Framed under glass. Sight 6 ½ x 4 ¼”. Frame size 10 ½ x 8 ¾”. Card is toned, soiled. Mild wear to frame. Excellent. A box-score from this team has been found in a Mobile newspaper, identifying them as an Alabama team; this team was named for the famous Oklahoma Land Rush of 1889. From the Mark Rucker Collection.
