A rare untrimmed (6 x 4”) photo card on paper with border still present. And “260 Doyle Second Base New York Giants. N. L.” postcard. [Owensboro, KY: Pinkerton Tobacco Company, 1915]. 5 ½ x 3 ½”. With pencil text, stamp and cancel on text area on verso. Some general toning, mild creasing, occasional thumbsoiling. Excellent. Pinkerton Tobacco cards were usually mounted onto cabinet mounts, and therefore most of the borders were trimmed away; cards with the borders intact and unmounted are exceedingly rare.
