MYERS of Brooklyn starting on his home run one of the outstanding features of the second game of the world series which was won by Boston 2 to 1.” Henry Harrison “Hy” Myers was a center fielder for various teams, including the Brooklyn Dodgers, St. Louis Cardinals, Cincinnati Reds. Chester David “Pinch” Thomas was a catcher for the Boston Red Sox and the Cleveland Indians.
