[JAPANESE BASEBALL]. Group of Two Early Score Cards and One Rare Folding Postcard. [Japan, ca. 1890s-1910s]. One scorecard is an illustrated advertisement for baseball clothing (6 x 4 ¼”), one is a folding scorecard for the Waseda University exhibition game against the University of Chicago game, Saturday, May 6th, 1911 at Marshall Field (unfolded, 5 x 16”, verso of folded card with paper residue from another newspaper article). Postcard is folded, and has team portraits of Waseda University and University of Chicago teams (unfolded 7 ¼ x 5 ¾” verso blank). Some general toning, rubbing. An excellent and rare group.
