[PHOTOGRAPHY]. A Group of 32 Cabinet Cards and 34 Real Photo Postcards. [V.p., ca. late 19th - early 20th centuries]. Nearly all black and white (one hand-colored photo, and a few later color items) albumen, heliograph or other photos. Sizes range from approximately 3 ½ x 5 ½ to 9 ¼ x 7 ½”. Some wear, soiling, foxing, creasing, several postcards with mailing markings or writing. Excellent. Some of the cabinet cards include photos of the Old Russell Place (hand-colored), Robert E. Lee Monument in Richmond, a pair of Mennonite sisters, the Peastee Garrison House, a train depot (possibly Kansas or Texas), Richville School House, a bull, a model of a ship, “Dear Dutchess” (an old dog), the Massachusetts State House, and more. RPPCs include scenes from Moulins France, the Coolidge House, British Army officers in WWI, Napoleon’s Tomb, Lillian Russell, Alpine scenes, a Mennonite woman, and more.
