Gelatin silver print on original blind-embossed studio mount, depicting the young magician seated in an ornately carved chair, verso stamped Oct. 17 1904. Printer’s pencil marks in margins. Image area 5 ½ x 4”. The photo appeared on the cover of the November 1904 issue of Mahatma, of which a copy is included.
