[SPACE AGE]. McCoy Friendship 7 Cookie Jar. McCoy Pottery, ca. 1960s. Cookie jar in the form of John Glenn’s Friendship 7 Mercury capsule, the first manned sub-orbital spacecraft. This jar is scarce and this one is in overall excellent condition. A handsome likeness of the Mercury capsule. With cold paint overglaze (chipping in some areas). 12 x 7 ¾”. Overall very good.
