[TOY STORY]. Group of Seven Advertising Mock-Ups for the First Toy Story Film, and the “Toy Story Funhouse” Attraction. [Burbank: Peter Green Design for Walt Disney Studios and Pixar Studios, ca. 1995]. Five photocopied proposed ads for the “Toy Story Funhouse” attraction, which opened up next to the El Capitan Theater in Hollywood, CA, in which audience members could go and experience fun attractions after viewing the first Toy Story film. Pages approximately 13 ¼ x 9 ¾”, mounted onto black foamboard, approximately 20 x 14”. And six advertising proposals for the Toy Story film, mounted onto two white foamboard sheets, each sheet with three mounted proposed ads (three in color, three in black and white). Ads approximately 11 x 7” and somewhat smaller; foamboard approximately 30 x 20” and 27 ½ x 20”. White foamboard with some wear, mild soiling, minor occasional rubbing to black foamboard. Generally near fine or better. A fascinating look at advertising proposals for the blockbuster 1995 film, Toy Story, which put Pixar Studios on the map.
