This book contains Perry’s lengthy account of his actions against illegal slavers along the coast of Africa, as well as the re-patriation of freed slaves to Liberia (pp. 1-151 of the first section). This volume also contains a resolution of the state of Illinois in support of the annexation of Texas (p. [1] in the final section).
