From the caption sheet on the verso: “RECORDING THEIR TORTURES IN WAX - - DACHAU, Germany - - Awaiting transportation to their Polish homeland, these former prisoners at the infamous Dachau camp recreate, in wax, the tortures they suffered at the hands of their German captors.
