[PAINTED MINIATURES]. [NELSON, Lord Horatio (1758-1805), subject]. Over-Painted Mezzotint Portrait of Nelson in Uniform. [England, ca. 1798]. Oval portrait under glass with brass frame in decorative bone frame. Sight approximately 3 ¼ x 2 ½”. Frame size approximately 5 ½ x 5”. A few small pieces of frame are starting to come away and one tiny piece is missing. Very good.
