[SNUFF BOXES]. Group of Four Vintage Snuff Boxes with Hinged Lids. [V.p., ca. 1800s-1860s]. Silver, or tortoise shell snuff boxes, one box with a mussel shell inset in lid. Sizes range from approximately 2 ¾ x 1 ½ x ½’ to 1 ½ x 1 x ¼”. One silver box engraved “C. Pachmann d25: Martz 1826”; another box (mussel shell and silver) engraved “HM”. Some general rubbing, tarnishing. Very good or better.
