[WAX SEAL]. [BONAPARTE, Napoleon (1769-1821), subject]. Brass Consulate Seal with Figural First Consul Napoleon and Sealing Wax Box . [Ca. 1800s]. Unusual wax seal bust of Napoleon in consul uniform, wearing his long hair. Approximately 3” high. Some mild wear, some soiling to surface of seal. Very good. Wax box covered in leather with hinged lid. Approximately 2 ½ x 1 ½ x ¾” With a portion of unused wax inside compartments. Very good.
