“Collection Complette des Bulletins de la Grande Armée, Contenant les Campagnes de 1808, 1809, 1810, et 1811, en Espagne en Allemagne et en Hollande…” Boulogne: Chez Guerin and Leroy-Berger, [ca. 1820]. Complete run of this French military bulletin, parts 1-158, as well as parts 1-29 of Nouvelles Officielles, and other bulletins Small 4to. Text on laid-paper. Bound in contemporary full tree calf, spine lettered and ruled in gilt (rebacked preserving the original spine, binding worn with occasional chipping, joints cracking, rear hinge reinforced with later cloth tape, text generally toned, foxed, wrinkled, occasionally thumbsoiled. Very good. This rare collection of bulletins (published in October after concluding the peace following the battle of Wagram) is followed by the 29 bulletins of the entire Russian campaign, then several other bulletins about the campaigns of 1813 and 1814, the abdication, and the Treaty of Paris. Several bulletins in the rear have official inkstamps of “a timbrer a l’extraordinaire” and “G. pas D. Galais [?]” Rare collected edition.
