Illustrated with steel engravings, a few illustrations hand-colored. Bound in contemporary quarter black calf over marbled boards, spines stamped and ruled in gilt, marbled endleaves and edges (spines somewhat unevenly sunned, some wear, soiling to boards, some occasional foxing in text). Very good. Uncommon with hand-colored plates.
