Rare copper-plated plaque; vignettes placed upon green cloth-covered beveled border, as issued. Sight approximately 21 ½ x 18 ½”. Framed under glass. Frame size approximately 23 ¼ x 20 ¼”. Some visible minor wear, soiling. Near fine. John Y. Simon, Director of Ulysses S. Grant Association, had told the consignor that this plaque is the only known copy to have 8 different vignettes (the other examples Simon had seen had duplicate vignettes).
