[GRANT, Ulysses S. (1822-1885), subject]. Glazed Decorative Tile Portrait of Grant. [Chelsea: J. C. & J. Flow, 1885]. Embossed portrait of Grant, glazed in blue, stamped credit on verso. Approximately 6 ¼ x 4 ½”. Some visible cracking on tile. Very good. Uncommon. It is most likely that this tile was created as a memorial to Grant.
