Sizes range from approximately 8 ½ x 5 ½” to 22 ¼ x 28 ¼”. Generally worn, foxed, toned, some wear. Fair or better. Titles include: “Surrender of General Lee” (plate from a book, worn, torn), “Surrender of Lee” (by Duval & Son), “Surrender of General Lee” (by Johnson & Fry), “Lee’s Surrender” (wood engraving after Kelly, matted), “Capitulation & Surrender of Robt. E. Lee & His Army at Appomattox C. H. VA. to Lt. Genl. U. S. Grant” (uncredited, worn and torn), “Let Us Have Peace” (chromolithograph from ‘The Pageant of a Nation’), “Vicksburg - Surrender of Pemberton to Grant” (tinted plate after J. Steeple Davis).
