[CONFEDERATE CARTRIDGE BOX]. Confederate Leather Cartridge Box with Original Metal Inserts. [Ca. 1860s]. Leather box with three pouches with fold-over leather flaps, belt loops, main compartment with metal inserts for ammunition. With brass “CS” badge on main flap and closure on bottom. Approximately 8 x 6 x 2 ½”. Some wear due to age and wear with numerous cracks, smallest pouch with large tear at one end. Very good.
