[CERTIFICATES]. Collection of German and European Magic Society and Convention Diplomas and Certificates. Over twenty-five finely and attractively printed certificates and diplomas issued by German magic societies to L. Tummers, Kurt Volkmann, Paul Potassy, and others. Included are documents issued by the German Magic Circle (Magische Zirkel von Deutschland) of Berlin (several different, including some unaccomplished), the AFAP (two different, both SIGNED by Dr. D’Hotel), Italian Magic Club ID (lacking the photograph), The Magic Circle of Dusseldorf (including a quantity of unaccomplished certificates), The Magic Club of Prague (SIGNED by Rudolf Pavlik and Josef Patera), the Circulo Magico International of Sao Paulo, and diplomas from various mid-century Dutch magic conventions. 1930s – 50s, including one issued during WWII and accompanied by a TLS on Helmut Schreiber letterhead. In an original stiff mailing parcel addressed to Dr. Volkmann. Nice lot.
