Including two sale lists of books from Hoffmann’s library (one issued by Hoffmann in 1913, bearing his address rubber stamp and his holographic inked date notation to the front panel; the second issued by Harry Hilckes, librarian of the Magic Circle two months later); text of the 1954 Hoffmann Memorial Lecture; “Professor Hoffmann and Conjuring” by George Knight (an extract from The Windsor Magazine, 1896); two handbills advertising Magical Tit-Bits issued by Munro’s; a pocket-size catalog for Routledge’s Indoor Series of Pastime and Playtime Books (including works by Hoffmann, Goldston, and Houdini); and a program for the Maskelyne Hoffmann Centenary (Feb. 3, 1940). Sold together with Thomas Sawyer’s bibliography of Hoffmann’s works (Santa Ana, 1983).
