Numbered in negative “X 1240-04” and Blindstamp copyrighted 1904 by E.S. Curtis. Image appeared as facing page 56 in Curtis’ “The North American Indian, Vol 1. The Apache. The Jicarillas. The Navaho.” Image: 13 ¼ x 18 ¼”; mat: 22 x 26”. Edges and corners worn with some emulsion loss. Good condition. All proceeds benefit the Howard L. Gottlieb Foundation, which has been supporting nonprofit organizations in the fine arts since 2015.
