Bound in nineteenth-century full dark blue calf, boards triple-ruled in gilt, decoratively ruled and with a central motif stamped in blind, spine tooled in gilt in compartments, gilt board edges, turn-ins stamped in blind, marbled endleaves, marbled edges (spine sunned, worn, lacking spine label, joints starting, boards edgeworn, hinges starting, offsetting from plates to facing text pages, several pages creased in upper corner, some minor occasional thumbsoiling, noble (?) bookplate on fp).
