IMPORTANT PRESENTATION COPY, THIS COPY INSCRIBED BY CROSBY TO HIS WIFE, CARESSE (1892-1970) ON THE FIRST BLANK: “A mon amant avec tres l’amore das le mode”. Unsigned. Crosby was one of the “Lost Generation” in American Literature; his wife, Caresse (originally named Polly) was also a member of the “Lost Generation” and the inventor of the modern brassiere.
