Very good. FIRST EDITION OF THE LAST COLONIAL COMPILATION OF NEW JERSEY LAWS. Front board is stamped in blind, “For the use of the Assessor of the South Ward of New Brunswick”. This copy was gifted to Judge Harry V. Osborne (1872-??), founder of Bonnie Brae Farm for Boys, a State Senator from Essex County, and author of numerous progressive laws (inscribed on the title page: “Presented to Harry Vivian Osborne.
