Uncolored engraved map depicting the eastern half of North America, with inset map and view of Quebec. Sight approximately 16 ½ x 19 ¼”. Matted and framed under glass. Frame size approximately 21 x 23 ¾”. 1 vertical crease (with tear, about 5”, at upper portion of crease), toned, a few short marginal tears visible. Good. Considered to be one of the most informative maps of French North America, it is based on Nicolas De Fer’s map of 1718. Not examined out of frame.
