Bound to style in modern quarter burgundy calf over burgundy cloth boards, 2 black gilt morocco lettering labels in compartments, five raised bands, modern black endleaves (minor rubbing, bumping to bindings, engraved title-page is loose, the first few pages and plates with dampstaining to upper corners, text with some occasional faint foxing). Near fine. FIRST EDITION OF THIS STRANGE HISTORY OF AMERICA, ARGUING THAT EUROPEANS SETTLED IN AMERICA LONG BEFORE THE TIME OF CHRIST.
