A very good copy of this rare account of an archaeological expedition in Central America. FIRST EDITION, ONE OF ONLY 50 COPIES PRINTED ON SPECIAL PAPER; THIS COPY SIGNED BY BLOM ON THE TITLE-PAGE OF VOLUME 1. Blom was an accomplished archaeologist and adventurer, likened to the fictional Indiana Jones (Restless Blood, 2017, p. 8 from the introduction by Michael Coe).
