“Waitress in Black Uniform Dress with White Apron” Marshall Field’s Animatronic Christmas Window Display Figure. Chicago: Marshall Field’s, 1982. 1920s-era large painted plaster figure (“Walnut Room; Figure III”) of a standing waitress in black shoes, white stockings knee-length black dress with white cuffs and collar, matching white apron. She is holding a tray of sweets (detached, but tray with sweets is present). On wooden base with motor and plug. 41” high. Some wear, her hair is a bit loose at her forehead, blue residue on her hands. Motor doesn’t work. Very good. From the collection of the Museum of Science and Industry Chicago.
