Pep Boys “Manny, Moe & Jack” Fiberglass Figural Sign. 1950s. In 1921, ex-sailors Emmanuel Maurice Strauss, Moe Radavitz, and W. Graham Jackson pitched in $200 each to start an auto service dealership called Pep Boys. Presented are the Pep Boys mascots, “Manny, Moe, and Jack,” in an unpainted standing statue used for in-store promotions. This is an earlier, heavy fiberglass pull of the figural signage and was apparently never issued for painting or placement in a store location. 51 x 42 x 8”. Very good with wear, minor repair, and some edge chipping.
