Bob’s Big Boy Promotional Advertising Character Statue. 1980s. From humble beginnings in Glendale, CA in 1962, to nationwide fame, Bob’s Big Boy and its iconic mascot has become a staple of American diners. Presented here is a full-size statue of “Big Boy.” With his pompadour hairdo, checked overalls, blue shoes, and plate of double cheeseburger, he is one of the most instantly recognizable mascots in advertising. This is the smaller of the two main statues produced by Bob’s with the larger standing almost 7 feet tall. This smaller version is usually preferred for home display. Made of fiberglass on stand. 44 x 57 x 29”. Very good.
