Two Porcelain Thermometer Signs. Carter Inx & Stafford’s Ink. [Circa 1910s/30s]. Pair of single sided porcelain (SSP) general store signs, each with a wood backed thermometer. Including: one advertisement for Carter Inx Products “Stationary, Blank Books, Writing Materials.” The other for Stafford’s Ink, the “Writing fluid best for fountain pens / The Ink that absorbs moisture from the air.” Each 27 x 7”. Some fading to color of Stafford’s with chipping at top grommet hole. Some chips to corners. Thermometer tubes are good.
