Three Advertising Signs. Cooling Room / Brohman Bros., together with Welch’s, The National Drink and Strathmore’s Pit Games and Poultry Supplies. All circa early 1900s. Reverse-glass sign reads Perfection Cooling Room. Bromann Bros. Chicago. Bromann made cabinets and walk-in coolers for Chicago grocers and specialty stores. 12” x 18”. Frame: 15 x 21”. Silver at back edges flaking. Vintage glass has unusual patterns and textures; Welch’s The Fruit Course for Breakfast window or countertop standing sign has foldout triangle (never opened). 21 x 13 ½”. Color offset lithograph has fading and staining, is bowed with paper lifting from board in a few spots. Corners dogeared; Thos. Strathmore, Breeder of Pit Games and Full Line of Poultry Supplies, Chicago. Offset lithograph. Frame (glass):13 x 17”. Signed in ink by Strathmore, AKA Coffee Tom.
