[VIETNAM WAR]. Group of Vietnam War Protest Material, including: a 1969 flyer from the Philadelphia New Mobilization Committee for the March on Washington Nov. 15, considered the largest march in the history of the United States at that point., 9 flyers and pamphlets published by Clergy and Laymen Concerned About Vietnam, 2 items for protests against Dow Chemical for their development and sales of napalm, a four page flyer for “Chicagoans March to End the War April 27”, the anti-war march in Chicago organized by Rennie Davis and others which ended with police beating many of the marchers, a precursor to the police riots later that year at the Democratic Convention. Also 4 booklets published in Vietnam concerning the war, a second printing of Ferlinghetti’s 1965 broadside “Where is Vietnam?” (Morgan A12b) plus 10 additional books and flyers. Slight age toning and margin wear to the Ferlinghetti item but most pieces are in very good or better condition. And A large four page publication with front and rear covers in color. The text is by “Madame Binh, Chief Representative of the National Liberation Front” and is headed “Alert - Mobilize Peace Forces Your Country. Check U.S. Dangerous Ventures Indochina”. Apparently published in the U.S. with an American address noted for the printer. The paper has been folded twice but remains very good.
