Group of 9 Psychedelic and Headshop Posters, including: Very scarce 1967 psychedelic calendar poster by David Hoges. Published and distributed by “The Holy Trinity” with their ornate rubber stamp on the back. And Psychedelic poster by Peter Max for the week long festival held at the University of California in Davis, CA. And Fabulous Furry Freak Brothers poster by the underground comix artist Gilbert Shelton. Large format, 27” x 23”. Likely a pirated edition from the smaller Rip Off Press issue without the artist or publisher noted. A 1” closed tear to the margin, some light smudging and minimal creasing. And Underground poster “I Want to Love It More” with an American flag and a peace symbol flag. Manufactured with “flocked” ink. Scarce, but with a copy noted in the Library of Congress. Small 1/2” tear to one margin. And Retailer’s product sheet for twelve religious psychedelic posters in dayglow colors. Each item is titled and numbered but there is no publisher noted. Undated, but likely early 1970s. And Dated poster with Photo/Design noted as “Boo Boo Tannenbaum / The Easter Areoplane”. A few light creases. And Original poster of a naked “hippie” girl smoking a hookah. Undated, but likely the late 1960s. Tape stains to the margins on back. A promotional poster for the Electra record of the same name. The poster has been rolled. And This Mouse and Kelly designed poster was an advertisement for Sunday Ramparts newspaper published every other Sunday by Ramparts Magazine. Undated but ca. 1967. Tack holes to the corners and some very minor scuffing and smudging to the back. Sizes range from approximately 19 x 14” to 23 ½ x 37. Condition generally A/A-.
