[GRATEFUL DEAD]. Group of Four “Dead Lot” T-Shirts. 1980s-90s. Group of 100% cotton original Grateful Dead “parking lot” shirts made by artisans, folk artists, and fans of the band. Including: Vote Garcia in ‘88. Fruit of the Loom tag, 1988. Original 100% cotton t-shirt with graphic front and back by P.R.W. Enterprises. Garcia pictured on the front, with Steal Your Face logo combined with United states presidential seal and text “Their motto is ‘Don't’ Tread on Me’.” Size XL. Very faded graphic. Scattered small holes. – The Eleven lyric shirt / 1987 Christmas. Hanes Beefy-T. Size L. 1987. – Holiday Tour 1991. No tag, ca. 1991, [size L-XL]. Featuring St. Patrick’s Day, Easter, and April fool’s day. – Dead on New Year’s Eve 1987-88 T-Shirt. Oneita tag, 1988. Original 100% cotton t-shirt with dancing bear and terrapin verso. Size medium. Lightly worn. – Many “Dead lot” shirts were hand drawn or printed in very small batches to be bought/sold in the parking lot before a concert and are considered rare. Previously worn to shows by a longtime follower of the GD. Condition varies; all are structurally very good. From the Joseph Scovel Grateful Dead Collection.
