Large group of 381 Grateful Dead “taper tapes” recorded by a longtime follower of the band. Mix of Maxell XL II, Fuji FX-I, TDK, and others. Tapes are from the period when Brent Mydland performed as the GD’s keyboardist and vocalist. With some recordings of the Jerry Garcia Band, Bob Weir, and Robert Hunter. Dates range from 4/16/79 to 12/31/1981, including Mydland’s first concert with the band 4/22/1979. Each tape has clear handwritten labels with the concert’s date, venue, and setlist. Not all tested.
