Including, “Daddy, what did you do in the Great War?” by Johnson Riddle & Co. – “Who’s Absent? / Is it you?” by Andrew Reid & Co. Ltd., – PARTRIDGE, Sir Bernard (1861—1945). “Take Up the Sword of Justice,” by David Allen & Sons. (In need of restoration). – “Go! It’s Your Duty Lad / Join To-Day,” David Allen & Sons. – Together with many others with various imagery and text. Largest 60 x 40”. All unbacked, most are flat, a few folded. Conditions vary. Some with tears along original folds, areas of loss and chipping. Very good/good overall with bright colors and bold design. Provenance: Sotheby’s 2013 Auction “1000 Ways of Seeing: The Private Collection of the late Stanley J. Seeger.”
