French folio of pochoir-colored lithograph prints on Arches laid paper celebrating the French war effort during the First World War, many signed in the plate. First and only edition, number 215/320, preface by Lucien Descaves. Containing 20 loose sheets, with 16 plates pochoir-colored by E. Charpentier under the direction of Bonfils. In the original portfolio with paper-covered boards, pastedowns and flaps, and tricolor ribbons. Uncommon. Sheets 12 ½ x 9”; cover 13 ? x 10”. Light dust-soiling, else very crisp and vibrant. Very good.
