Dated January 31, 1918, Hoffmann writes in reply to Sydney Wrangel Clarke, mentioning the enclosure of “another half-dozen lists” (not included) and referencing The Magic Circle, of which both men were members. Hoffmann’s printed stationery. 7 x 4 ½”. SIGNED “Yours faithfully Angelo Lewis.” Later holographic note about Hoffman to verso. Old creases with one inch tear near bottom edge, light toning and foxing.
