Ball Vase. Circa 1870. Spherical boxwood container on handsome and tall base with spring loaded mechanism concealed in the lid. Possibly used for a color changing effect. Height 7”. Lacking the shell and ball, but good condition, and this an unusual form for a classic and well-known magic prop.
