Ownership signature to front pastedown dated 1816.Bullock’s museum opened in London in 1812, displaying his immense collection of some 32,000 natural history artifacts. This book was likely sold as a souvenir to visitors of the Piccadilly institution, which went on to be known as England’s “Home of Mystery” and a showplace for magicians.
