HOUDINI, Harry (Erik Weisz, 1874 – 1926). The Right Way to Do Wrong. Boston: Author, 1906. Recovered in plain blue wrappers with typed spine label. Lacks title page. Frontispiece portrait of a youthful Houdini, profusion of illustrations. 8vo. Chipped, a few corners clipped; good. SIGNED AND INSCRIBED on the endsheet in an unusual manner, “Harry Handcuff Houdini” with one letter “H” adapted for use for three words.
Despite its faults, this is one of only a handful of Houdini autographs we have encountered with this unusual flourish and style.
