THE SCARCE FIRST EDITION OF THIS HISTORY OF THE AUTHOR’S FATHER, A MEDICAL MISSIONARY; ONE OF AN ESTIMATED 100 COPIES PRINTED (only 33 copies were for sale). Her father, Taylor Filmore Ealy, was a medical missionary in the Oklahoma Indian Territory and New Mexico Territory. This copy includes 4 letters: 2 letters from 1955 and 1956 between R. N. Mullin and Jeff Dykes about Mullin’s attempts to purchase a copy from Ealy, of which only 33 remained, which proved difficult, and a letter from Ealy to Dykes dated May 9, 1956, and includes a letter from Mullin to W. M. Morrison about his attempt to purchase a copy. Inscribed “To top expert Jeff Dykes with the good wishes of RN Mullin. 12/1/55”. Housed in modern cloth slipcase.
