Scarce engraved political card with pull-out flap, which changes the expression of Davis’ face (happy with the 1861 version, shocked with the 1863 version). Approximately 5 ¾ x 2 ¾”. Fine. With “Postage 3 cents” printed on the pull-out flap. A charming and scarce artifact lampooning Davis’ reaction to the repatriation of Fort Sumter.
